Epoxy
Your first question is probably: "What on earth is epoxy?" It's the hard, super durable polymer resin that coats kitchen tables, bar tops, and boat decks. I mix it together in two parts, add paint and then pour or drip it onto a birch wooden panel. It's sticky and messy (kinda like painting with pancake syrup); it dries slowly, but always hardens to a gorgeous sheen.
